Just Landed: Predator Slimline Series

Introducing two new batteries which have landed at R&J Batteries just in time for the upcoming travel season. The Predator Slimline series consists of 12V Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) batteries in 100Ah and 200Ah capacities suited for recreation, sport and leisure applications. The new range is now available at all R&J Batteries branches in Australia and New Zealand.

Predator Slimline batteries are packed with several features making them ideal for caravans, campers and 4WDs. They are especially useful for deep cycle applications with space restrictions. The 70mm case design allows these batteries to be installed in locations with limited space like behind the rear seats of dual cab utility vehicles. The batteries are also suited for deep cycle applications where high cycle life and low weight is required. Predator Slimline batteries deliver over 3500 cycles at 80% Depth of Discharge (DoD) as well as fast recharge capability. In comparison to lead acid batteries, LiFePO₄ batteries have greater usable capacity which means you can enjoy long-lasting and consistent power with a fast recharge.

The powerful LiFePO₄ chemistry behind the Predator Slimline series is well regarded for its safety profile. LiFePO₄ batteries are incombustible and can operate over a wide temperature range. The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) ensures that Predator Slimline batteries are safe and stable.

Another useful feature is Bluetooth connectivity. Predator Slimline batteries allow users to connect to the Predator Bluetooth App to view real time information. Users can monitor vital information like the battery status, voltage, State of Charge, temperature and individual cell voltage to ensure the battery is ready for the journey ahead and avoid unexpected surprises on the road. The Predator Bluetooth App is available to download via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

The Predator Slimline series joins the 100Ah and 135Ah models in the Predator lithium range while also being an addition to the growing Predator brand. The brand currently caters for a wide range of applications across various battery types and sizes. These include automotive, commercial, caravan & camping, marine, golf cart, motorcycle & powersport, industrial,  and general purpose ranges.
