Training Academy
R&J Batteries deliver innovative training for staff, customers and motoring groups. This industry leading information and knowledge gives us a competitive edge in a crowded market place.
The R&J Battery Academy was established in 2014, after recognising that many stockists and resellers were inadequately informed regards changing battery technologies as well as having increased demand for training in accurate testing and fault diagnosis.
R&J Batteries had already identified that approximately three out of every four presented warranties were in fact only flat, or were being used in incorrect applications. Such situations often led to premature failure and frustration for many customers.
Further support for a dedicated battery training program was evident from feedback we received at our many product information evenings and customer site visits. As we work very closely with our many manufacturers, we are uniquely positioned to offer timely and accurate information on emerging trends and changes in battery technology. To make certain we are offering our customers maximum value, we have leveraged these relationships to ensure both our staff and customers alike have access to industry leading information and knowledge. This helps us all develop a genuine advantage in a very competitive market place.
We have developed our portfolio of courses to address the many myths and inaccuracies that have been identified during our information sessions, issues associated with industrial, 4X4, Caravan and RV applications in particular. We also cater to businesses, motoring clubs & groups as well as industry associations throughout Australia. Courses offered are a mix of chalk and talk, with an interactive hands on component, to ensure we cater to all levels. We deliver the content in a stimulating environment, resulting in a thorough working knowledge of each product or system. A certificate is provided upon completion and all programs have been uniquely developed by R&J Batteries. They are not available from other battery companies!
Our training programs are developed and delivered by experienced trade qualified, TAE level facilitators, who are as passionate today as when they first began in the industry.
For all lead acid battery training requirements as well as related recovery systems, (including solar) we are in an excellent position to assist, either at our dedicated training centre in Ballarat or off site where we can bring the class room to you.
